Clinical Psychology
The clinical psychology program at the University of Melbourne began in the early 1970s. The program aims to produce graduates with a strong knowledge base in psychopathology, combined with a high level of skill and acumen in culturally responsive assessment and treatment of psychological conditions that can present across the lifespan.

Clinical Neuropsychology
The clinical neuropsychology program at the University of Melbourne enjoys an excellent reputation as one of the premier programs of its nature in the country and produces graduates with a detailed understanding of the affective, behavioural and cognitive manifestations of diseases of the central nervous system, particularly those affecting the brain, in adults and children.

Professional Psychology
The Master of Professional Psychology program is a new addition to the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences. The first cohort of trainees commenced in 2021. This program aims to produce graduates with an in depth understanding of the theoretical and conceptual foundations of assessment and intervention relevant to professional psychology practice and the ability to put that understanding into practice.
