Student Placements
Placements, industry projects, fieldwork, internships and other work integrated learning activities are an essential part of many courses in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
They provide an invaluable opportunity for students to explore real-life application of the skills and knowledge gained through their coursework study. Student placements facilitate the development of professional workplace skills, making our graduates absolutely ready to make a difference in the community immediately after completion of their studies.
Please note that Student Placement activities are guided by the guidelines from Fair Work Australia. Important information on what constitutes a valid student placement can be found here.
