CPR and First Aid

First aid training will give you the skills and knowledge to provide immediate medical support in the event of an incident, illness or injury of an individual who may be potentially in your care. The training will provide you with the appropriate knowledge and techniques to manage a medical emergency and possibly save someone’s life!

This check is requested directly by your placement staff, and you should follow their instructions and directions to have this completed.

To complete this check, completion of a HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course is required. This course is valid for three years and is requirement by multiple disciplines. Some disciplines may also require completion of a CPR course HLTAID009 to be repeated annually.
