AI-powered waitlists

Waitlists and fragmented care affect health outcomes. This project examines how data-driven insights and health literacy can empower patients to self-care and to facilitate improved access to specialists. By piloting AI-supported triaging at the Austin Hospital, we are developing scalable models to address rising wait times at the Royal Women’s and Mercy Hospitals in the future, addressing the long wait times experienced by women suffering from chronic pelvic pain. Our goal is to refine referral pathways and empower patients with evidence-based solutions while they wait, aiming for a more responsive and equitable public health system.
