The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is a leader in educating future generations of the health workforce. We provide learning environments that stimulate, challenge and inspire. We believe in giving all talented and passionate students the opportunity to achieve, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Our students have all demonstrated the skill and tenacity to excel but some struggle to afford their education or are disadvantaged by circumstances beyond their control. Scholarships and bursaries provided by the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) Scholarship Fund are awarded on the basis of financial need, disadvantage and/or prior academic achievement. They provide life-transforming, equitable access to education.
The MDHS Scholarship Fund is a permanently endowed trust (UTR6.300) within the University which means that by making a gift you will be contributing not only to next year’s recipients but also to generations of students to come.
