Creating safe spaces for physiotherapy students

Creating safe spaces for students learning physical examination

This multidisciplinary team from within the School of Health Sciences will design trauma-informed curriculum for learning peer-to-peer physical examination.

The project aims to incorporate diverse experiences to facilitate meaningful consent and to also advance the practice of physiotherapy graduates to ensure patient safety and consent in the long term.

This project is supported by an MDHS Diversity and Inclusion Grant 2022.
