About
Donor: An appeal in memory of Dr Herbert Michael Bower MBBS (1947), GDPsychMed (1953). Dr Bower innovative moves into psychogeriatrics, and maintained an interest in geriatric psychiatry. He was also a psychiatric consultant for the German government in relation to the assessment of Victorian holocaust survivors for restitution.

Eligibility
Awarded to the student who is regarded by all the members of the viva examining panel as having given the best answer to the Psychiatry of Old Age prize question in the Aged Care Prize viva exam.
Selection
This prize is awarded as part of the Aged Care Prize viva exam.
Eligible Doctor of Medicine students will be invited to participate in their fourth year based on their Aged Care term results from Principles of Clinical Practice 3 (PCP3).
