Health Student Placement Travel Grant

About

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is supporting students who undertake placement requirements with the costs of travelling for placement. You are eligible for this grant if you are undertaking a Health Placement and required to travel for more than 50km from your usual place of residence to attend placement.

Benefits

This grant provides a one off payment of $50.

Eligibility

To be considered for this grant, you must:

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, and
• Have completed or be intending to undertake mandatory placement as part of your course
  • Must be between 1 July - 31 December 2026
  • Placement location must be at least 50km (one way) from your usual place of residence.

Selection

There are a limited number of grants available.

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that submission does not guarantee a grant.
