Donya Eghrari

Project Officer

Donya is a researcher and a PhD student, learning and working across Centre for Health Policy (MSPGH) and Collaborative Practice Centre (MDHS) at the University of Melbourne.

Donya loves spending time with her children and enjoys interior design, creating art and poetry, reading, watching meaningful movies, as well as spending time in nature.  She is an optometrist and public health researcher, with research background in maternal and child health, youth, pathogen genomics, First Nations health, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and cancer screening participation. She is passionate to advance research and curriculum design at the intersection of health and interprofessional education, drawing on qualitative and co-design methods. She hopes to view her research and life through an equity, justice and human rights lens, working towards knowledge translation, and learning closely from the grassroots. She is passionate about intercultural dialogues and social cohesion.
