The Cumming Global Centre for Pandemic Therapeutics, established in 2022 at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, is a vital part of the University of Melbourne. With a historic AU$250 million donation from philanthropist Mr. Geoffrey Cumming and additional support from the State Government of Victoria, the Centre is dedicated to the rapid development of antiviral treatments. By collaborating with leading medical researchers and funding innovative research programs, the Centre aims to transform the management of future pandemics and save lives.
