About

About the Conference

I am delighted that we will once again be hosting the MDHS Learning and Teaching Conference— this time as two half days, one virtually and the other face-to-face with an opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch after the morning's event.

We begin our conference with events focussed on two important themes for our Faculty— on Tuesday, Wellbeing and Mental Health at the University of Melbourne: Towards a 'Healthy University', and on Wednesday, Collaborative Practice. These themes are significant for all of us – students, and professional, academic and honorary staff. We will hear from leading University and Faculty experts on practices, experiences, directions, and scholarship in relation to both.

But of course, the conference is less about listening than it is about connecting. Across both days, from our opening plenary by Professor Sarah Wilson to our concluding lunch at the Woodward, I look forward to the many conversations, collaborations and ideas that these connections will spark.

Registrations are still open, although are sure to fill soon for the second day where we meet face-to-face.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Warm regards,

Marilys
