About

About the Symposium

Our Faculty’s 2019 Learning and Teaching Symposium has a rich program that will stimulate a wealth of new connections, ideas and developments. Of particular focus will be many facets of the student experience, including student wellbeing, interprofessional learning and Indigenous health teaching.

This year, we begin our Symposium with an exciting morning program where we engage with students and staff to explore a range of student experience initiatives. In the afternoon, two parallel streams are offered— one on learning and teaching initiatives, and one on new approaches to student-centric support.

The Symposium concludes with a celebration of learning and teaching excellence. In this celebration, we recognise the Faculty’s winners of the University of Melbourne Teaching Excellence Awards, and announce the winners of our Faculty’s own learning and teaching awards and fellowships.

I look forward to seeing you at the Symposium.
