Health and medical research translation with a diversity and equity focus
Embracing Diversity is the theme of the 2022 Research Translation Symposium.
The NHMRC Research Translation Long Weekend 2022 will be a hybrid event, combining online presentations with in-person networking events. It will take place from Thursday 17 November to Tuesday 22 November 2022 (with a weekend break). Sessions will start at 12.00 noon AEDT (9.00 am Perth, 2.00 pm Auckland) and end by 4.00 pm each day.
Theme: Embracing Diversity
Encouraging the translation of research that improves equity and respects the health and health care decision making needs of people of different cultures, ethnic groups, socio-economic groups, abilities or ages.
Key features
The Symposium will be a hybrid event designed to minimise the impact of any changes in circumstance that may arise from new outbreaks of COVID-19 or other factors. It will consist of a combination of plenary presentations, ePosters, and face-to-face satellite events for in-person networking
