LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan 2023-2026

On 11 May, the University launched its first LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Action Plan, which specifically addresses the unique challenges faced by students, staff, visitors and alumni who identify as LGBTIQA+.

The plan represents a coordinated whole-of-University approach to eliminate barriers to culture, practices, systems and structures for LGBTIQA+ inclusion. The aim is to embed and advance principles of diversity and inclusion by addressing the unique challenges facing LGBTIQA+ students, staff and visitors to the University.

The plan has been shaped by a consultation process that brought together the lived experience of staff, students, key subject-matter experts from across the University community, and benchmarking against leading practice.
