Digital Health Program Manager

Kara is an experienced health professional working across digital health, research, business development, innovation, and clinical care. She is an early-career researcher, leading a team who specialise in early-stage digital health project development, in the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health.

Dr Burns’ research interests include early-stage innovations, evidence generation, consumer involvement and digital health equity. She has a growing track record of grant success ($1.83M career total to date) and regularly publishes in the JMIR the highest ranked journal in for digital medicine and health and health care in the internet age (IF 7.4).
