Joël is an AHPRA registered pharmacist with close to a decade of clinical experience, and digital health researcher with a focus on using innovative IT solutions to enhance patient and medication safety.

Joël specialises in the design and evaluation of digital systems in particular (drug safety surveillance systems), the refinement of clinical decision support systems, and the implementation of technology-driven solutions to improve clinical practice and patient care across various healthcare settings. His research expertise includes planning, designing, and conducting qualitative research, usability testing, user-centric design, etc. to recommend design interventions, usability requirement and developing frameworks.
