Tangerine specialises in designing and scaling innovative education and workforce development initiatives that build capability in digital health, artificial intelligence and learning health systems. With global academic and executive leadership experience, she translates research, policy and innovation into high-impact workforce capability and system transformation.

Tangerine brings over two decades of academic and executive leadership experience across higher education, government and industry, including roles at the University of Louisville, Monash University (Australia and Malaysia), the Australian-American Fulbright Commission and KPMG. She has also contributed to national innovation through the End Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre, leading the development of future leaders. Across these roles, she has secured and led more than AUD $100 million in funding and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining the Centre, she served as Academic Director – Commercial at Melbourne Professional Education (MPE), where she led whole-of-university academic-commercial partnerships and translated academic expertise into high-impact professional education for global organisations across health, technology, finance, corporate and government sectors.

Her work sits at the intersection of academia and practice. She specialises in building integrated education ecosystems, spanning short courses, curated conversations, masterclasses, micro-credentials, academic programs and executive education that align workforce capability with research translation and system priorities. At the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, she is advancing new models of education that connect researchers, clinicians, health professionals and industry partners to accelerate the adoption of digital health innovation. Tangerine is recognised for convening cross-sector stakeholders and positioning education as a critical lever for innovation, workforce development and health system transformation.
