Eligibility

Each year the top 8 performing students in the Child and Adolescent Health assessments are invited for a Prize examination.  This consists of a paediatric medical and surgical examination.  Based on the prize examination for the Child and Adolescent Health examination, the following prized are awarded:

  • Howard E Williams – Awarded  annually  to the student  with the best performance in Clinical Paediatrics in the Child and Adolescent Health term of the subject Principles of Clinical Practice 3 (PCP3) in the Doctor of Medicine.
  • Clara Myers – Awarded annually to the student  with the best paediatric surgical performance in the Child and Adolescent Health term of the subject Principles of Clinical Practice 3 (PCP3) in the Doctor of Medicine.
  • Vernon Collins – Awarded to the student with the best overall performance in the Child and Adolescent Health term of the subject Principles of Clinical Practice 3 (PCP3) in the Doctor of Medicine.

Outcome

Most merit based prize recipients will be advised in writing in Semester One of the following academic year.
