About
The Oral Cancer Research Travel Award was established by the Australian and New Zealand Head and Neck Society and will be offered to a student who has been accepted to present at World Congress of the International Academy of Oral Oncology, to support travel and accommodation costs.
Benefits
This award provides a one-off payment of approximately $1,500 (NAI of the trust).

Eligibility
To be eligible for this award the student must:
- Be enrolled in a Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy in the Melbourne Dental School
- Be undertaking research related to Oral Cancer
- Have been accepted to present at the World Congress of the International Academy of Oral Oncology
Selection
Number of awards available: 1 every 2 years
This award is offered to the eligible student with the highest quality research abstract as determined by the selection panel.
In the event there is no eligible student applicant, the award may be awarded to an early career researcher who is presenting at the World Congress of the International Academy of Oral Oncology (held every second year).

The student must submit an application and provide:
- Evidence of acceptance to present your research at the International Academy of Oral Oncology World Congress
- Research abstract

This award is subject to the following condition:
At the conclusion of the award, the recipient must present their conference presentation at a School seminar.
