The Humanities in Medicine Award is offered to students with an original creative work that had the most positive influence on their practice and study of medicine.
Benefits
This prize offers a one-off payment of $200.

Eligibility
To be considered for this prize, students must:
- be currently enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine
- be undertaking clinical training at the Northern Clinical School
- have completed 100 points of study
Selection
This prize is offered to the eligible student with the work that had the most positive influence on their practice and study of medicine as determined by a vote by staff from the Northern Clinical School and clinician at Northern Health involved in teaching.
Application
Students must submit an original piece of creative work and an abstract that summarises how engagement with the art form positively influences the student’s practice and study of medicine.
A call for submissions will be made toward the end of the year.
