About
Donor: The late Mrs Phyllis Peshke Steinberg bequeathed a scholarship in memory her late son Dr Oscar Osher Steinberg, who was a graduate of the medical school.

Eligibility
Awarded to a student commencing the Surgery and Anaesthetics term of the subject Principles of Clinical Practice 2, with consideration given to financial need.
Selection
Student grants process: Recipients will be selected by the Melbourne Medical School Scholarships and Bursary Allocation Committee made up of senior professional and academic staff members of the School. The selection of recipients is based on the applicant’s financial aid ranking as provided by the University Scholarships office.
Application
Students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form by the closing date.
Outcome
Students will be notified of the student bursary outcomes in late May.
