Why the Doctor of Physiotherapy?

I wanted to have a career in the field of health sciences since high school. I really wanted to help people in any possible way since a young age and I found that helping people to get back to what they can do before morbidity is really fulfilling.

The Doctor of Physiotherapy integrates knowledge into clinical scenarios and is not just rote learning of facts. Clinical placements really put what has been learnt in classes into practical context which require integration of knowledge.

I plan to work a few years in Melbourne to gain experience before travelling back to Malaysia or other countries to have more exposure within the field.

Why the University of Melbourne?

The University of Melbourne is one of the most renowned universities in the world with vast involvement in research of various medical and health areas such as stem cells and immunology.

University highlights

Enjoying the sun on South Lawn with friends and quiet time in the amazing libraries.
