Why the Doctor of Medicine?

I have been very interested in medicine since high school when I first started to learn about genetics and biology. My passion for medicine grew while I was in Biomedicine. Both the art and science of medicine sound fascinating to me and I am really enjoying being a medical student.

What I like most in medicine is the transition and application of textbook knowledge into real clinical practice. The clinical experience in the hospitals, clinics and community taught me not only about the science part of medicine, but also the ethics and humanity of medicine I find very interesting.

Why the University of Melbourne?

Melbourne is my favourite city. I love the vibrant vibes in the streets of Melbourne, beautiful morning coffees and most importantly, the friendly and kind people residing here.
