Conclusion of Placement
The student you have on placement with you may only be with you for a single day, for a block placement of multiple days or visit your clinic repeatedly across a semester.
Please ensure that you have completed the followingat the end of each clinical placement:
- Provided oral feedback on student performance and commented on progression
- Determined the number and type of student clinical hours to be logged in Sonia timesheets
- Signed off on SONIA timesheets, checking that your first and last name is correctly documented in the comments section (ask the student to re-submit if this is not correct)
- Provided any feedback to the university on the student if you feel it is warranted or required
Thank you for your support with clinical education for our Master of Clinical Audiology students. Your contribution is highly valued, as our students learn so much from the diverse experiences you can provide.
