PhD Project - HYBRID trial

An exciting PhD position is available in the Orygen-led HYBRID study.

HYBRID is an intervention trial with first episode psychosis patients that combines virtual reality, EEG-based neurofeedback, and cognitive behaviour therapy.
The aim is to combine these approaches in an innovative treatment package for reducing the severity and distress associated with auditory verbal hallucinations (‘hearing voices’).

It is essential that applicants meet the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and  Health Science’s requirements for Graduate Research candidature.
