Health Services Research Training: Your input matters!

As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance primary care and patient outcomes, the University of Melbourne and he Murdoch Children’s Research Institute are excited to announce a new initiative funded by the Primary Care Grant, Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF). The goal is to bolster the capacity of primary care practitioners like you to lead or actively engage in Health Services Research (HSR).
What is Health Services Research?
HSR focuses on identifying the most effective ways to organise, manage, finance, and deliver high-quality care while prioritising patient safety. Unlike traditional medical research, which primarily evaluates clinical treatments, HSR delves into the broader landscape of healthcare delivery and access.
Why Your Input Matters
Your insights are invaluable. By understanding your interests and preferences regarding HSR training, future programs can be tailored to meet your needs effectively. Whether you’re already passionate about HSR or curious to explore this field further, your participation will shape the future of primary care research.
Survey Details
You are invited to complete a brief (5 minute) survey that will help to understand your interest in HSR training. The survey covers topics such as:
- Specific areas of HSR that interest you
- Preferred learning formats (e.g., workshops, webinars, self-paced modules)
- Any barriers to engaging in HSR
