15 University of Melbourne researchers receive NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarships

Fifteen researchers from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences have been awarded almost $1.8 million in Postgraduate Scholarships from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).

The NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarships scheme funds outstanding health and medical graduates to complete a research-based postgraduate degree early in their careers, to support the development of original and internationally competitive independent research within Australia.

Postgraduate research projects funded for commencement in 2024 are from across the spectrum of public health and health services research and clinical medicine and science research.
