Launch of the Melbourne Centre for Clinical Trials

On Thursday July 4th the Melbourne Centre for Clinical Trials (MCCT) was officially launched at an event at Melbourne Connect.

Prof Julie Simpson launched the Centre, which has been established to facilitate and coordinate the collaboration of clinical trials and methodology groups across the Melbourne network (comprised of The University of Melbourne and affiliated Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH) hospitals and institutes).

Speaking at the launch, she said “I am thrilled to launch this Centre and am excited by the opportunities it presents for innovation, teamwork and expanding our capacity as world-leaders in clinical trials.”
