International Clinical Trails Day Webinar

It was a pleasure for the Melbourne Centre for Clinical Trials (MCCT) to host a webinar in partnership with the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health and MISCH to mark International Clinical Trials Day.

The webinar brought together researchers, trialists and healthcare professionals to explore key topics shaping contemporary clinical research. Presentations highlighted approaches to meaningful consumer involvement in trials, opportunities for recruitment through the electronic medical record, and the range of university-based resources available to support trial delivery. The session also featured case studies examining sex and gender considerations in biostatistics.

The discussion was insightful and practical, reinforcing the importance of collaboration, innovation and inclusivity in the design and conduct of clinical trials.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful speakers (Mary Stathopoulos, Haustine Patt Panganiban, Renata Phyland and Dr Ana Potemkin) for sharing their expertise and insights.
