MDHS ECA Network Town Hall - 2023
The MDHS ECA Network and members of the Faculty Leadership team hosted an ECA-centred Forum on Wednesday 9th August, 2022. The event provided a forum for Early and Mid-Career Academics from the Faculty to share concerns and issues regarding Job security, Funding, and ECA Representation and Advocacy.
The forum featured;
- Professor Mike McGuckin, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
- Professor Alicia Spittle, Associate Dean of Research, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
Professor Jane Gunn (Dean, MDHS) was not able to attend as a panelist as planned, however she responded to four key questions which the ECA group put to her after the Townhall (See Town Hall Report).
The ECA group also extended an invitation to other Faculty and School leaders from across MDHS.
