Faculty launches Student Advisory Council

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences recently launched the Student Advisory Council (SAC) as part of a key initiative from Advancing Health 2030, aimed at putting students at the heart of everything we do.

The aim of the SAC is to change the way the University engages with its students by empowering them to have a say in decisions that affect them and to advocate for critical student issues.

Chairing the Council are three PhD students from the faculty; Jordan Di Natale, Jonathan Glenning and Bree Jones.

The student chairs have expressed their hope that this initiative will lead to a more inclusive and supportive culture and will bridge the gap between staff and students.
