The Student Health and Wellbeing Digital Hub connects students with a range of health, wellbeing and support services, including counselling, medical care, mental health resources, study support, safety services and community wellbeing programs.
External Clinical Educators
External clinical educators play an important role in supporting student wellbeing during placements. The resources below provide guidance on responding to student welfare concerns, accessing advice, and finding support for both students and educators.

If you are concerned about a student’s welfare, but feel unsure how to respond, you can access the CAPS secondary consult service.
The link on the website states that it is a service for staff, but this service is also available for our clinical educators to receive confidential advice about University of Melbourne students. This service will call you back within two hours of contact, during business hours.
