Poche Centre Marks Major Growth in Indigenous PhD Success in 2025
The Poche Centre for Indigenous Health has marked an outstanding year in 2025, with significant milestones achieved across Indigenous research and higher education. With the dedicated support of the Poche team, four Indigenous PhD students have successfully completed their doctoral studies, representing an important contribution to Indigenous-led scholarship.
Alongside these completions, the Centre has welcomed a strong new cohort of emerging researchers. Ten new Indigenous PhD candidates have either commenced or are scheduled to begin their studies in 2025, reflecting a continued rise in interest and engagement with the Centre’s programs.
