"I'm originally from Zimbabwe. When my mum, sister and I arrived in Australia we moved to Murtoa and then Ararat. It would have been very expensive to travel to and from University and I couldn't afford to live in the city. Living at Newman College means I can focus on my studies, enjoy the best of what Melbourne has to offer and make friends that I'll have for life. I wouldn't be here without this scholarship."
