About

The Nancye H. Best Physiotherapy Scholarship was established in celebration of 25 years of the Physiotherapy program with a gift from Mrs Nancye H. Best. The scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in and having commenced study in an entry-to-practice Physiotherapy degree program in the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Science.

Benefits

The duration of the scholarship is up to 1 year. The award will be paid in 4 instalments over a 12 month period with a sum total of up to $10,000.

Two scholarships may be awarded for 2019.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship students must be enrolled in the first or second year of an entry-to-practice Physiotherapy degree program in 2019 and continuing in 2020. Preference is given to those who are in financial need. This scholarship is open to domestic students only.

Selection

From amongst eligible applicants, the scholarship will be awarded to the student most disadvantaged in their academic work by their financial need in conjunction with personal circumstances .

Application

Eligible students must submit an online Financial Aid Grant application by the closing date. Ensure you include a brief summary of your current financial circumstances section on this application.

Outcome

Successful candidates will be advised of the outcome of their application within 4-6 weeks of the closing date.
