Donor: John Edmund Taylor, late of Lansell Road, Toorak in the State of Victoria, timber merchant who died on 17 December 1943.

One $2,000 prize awarded annually. The first award to be made available in 2018.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must
- Have completed a Bachelor degree, majoring in a discipline related to Clinical Pathology or other Clinical or Biomedical Sciences, within 18 months of the award.
- Have successfully enrolled in the Clinical Pathology research project subjects (PATH40006 and PATH40007) as part of their Honours course, completing a project related to cancer.
Selection
The award will be offered to the student who has achieved the highest WAM across years 2 and 3 of their bachelor degree.
Outcome
Most merit-based prize recipients will be advised in writing in Semester One of the following academic year.
