About

To provide scholarships for students who are enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine at the Melbourne Medical School and are experiencing disadvantaged circumstances. Preference is given to students who have a disability and/or medical condition and/or are from a regional or remote area of Australia.

Benefits

$12,000 per year for the duration of the MD.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must:

• Be enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine course at the Melbourne Medical School
• Must submit an online Student Financial Assessment Form by Round 1 closing date

Selection

• Selection will be based on the Financial Assessment Data Total Score provided by Scholarships and Bursaries -disability and/or medical condition and/or regional/remote scores within this data will be used by the selection panel to determine the recipient.

Application

Students must submit a Student Financial Assessment Form (Round one).

Outcome

Students will be notified via email of the student bursary outcomes by May.
