About

This scholarship is to support Indigenous students or those who have experienced significant hardship to undertake the Master of Biomedical Science course. Scholarship is funded by the School of Biomedical Sciences and the MDHS Scholarships Fund

Benefits

One student awarded annually from 2021-2026. Value of scholarship is $20,000 pa. Successful recipient will receive two payments of $5,000 in their first year of study & two payments of $5,000 in their 2nd year of study.

Eligibility

To be considered for this award, students must:

  1. Have commenced the Master of Biomedical Science during the current intake period; and
  2. Applied and deemed eligible for Graduate Access Melbourne during the course application process; and
  3. Be enrolled on a full time basis.

Selection

Eligible students will be ranked based on academic merit (WAM calculated for course entry) taking into consideration the results of previous tertiary study. Priority will be given to Indigenous students.

Outcome

Students will be notified in February or March by email .
