About
Dr Arthur John Nyulasy (1865 – 1924) was a senior Gynaecologist who spent several years studying at the University of Melbourne, who completed a year in civil engineering before transferring to medicine and then completing his medical training in Britain. For thirteen years ending February 1924, Arthur Nyulasy, was the senior gynaecologist to the Perth Hospital in Western Australia.
Donor: Francis Armand Nyulasy, M.D., B.S., a medical practitioner, bequethed to the University £1,000 to found a prize in memory of his late brother Arthur John Nyulasy.

Eligibility
Awarded annually to the candidate who, by either demonstrated knowledge and skill in surgery; or a thesis or other published research and has made the most significant contribution to obstetrics and gynaecology.
Applicants must be graduates (within the last 10 years) of Doctor of Medical Science (DMedSc) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences.
Selection
Successful applicants will have a made a significant contribution to obstetrics and gynaecology as demonstrated through:
Publications, grants and awards recieved, presentations delivered and impact of their research.
Application
Applicants must read and complete the attached application form and forward it to their supervisor to certify and request them to then submit it to the Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Outcome
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their submission by email within 8 weeks of the closing date.
