Summary Stipend available for successful applicant Healthy Trajectories has several programs of research. This doctoral scholarship is available for those interested in research that focuses on either of the following areas of need: (i) reducing co-morbidities associated with disability to improve wellbeing and quality of life; or (ii) research about the complex and intersecting needs of those experiencing multiple disadvantages that compound the experience of disability.

Project Details

The Healthy Trajectories research hub is focused on building consumer-partnered, or led, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectorial research to address the needs of those with child-onset disability and their families. Our research aims to progress the vision that that all children and youth, whose lives are complicated by disability, have the best chance of reaching their full potential for health and participation across the life span.

Healthy Trajectories has several programs of research. This doctoral scholarship is available for those interested in research that focuses on either of the following areas of need:

(i) reducing co-morbidities associated with disability to improve wellbeing and quality of life; or

(ii) research about the complex and intersecting needs of those experiencing multiple disadvantages that compound the experience of disability.

There is a doctoral stipend associated with this body of work. We hope to recruit a high-quality student into this PhD position, and are open to those with varying discipline backgrounds.
