Project Details

Multimorbidity is an under-researched area, despite80% of elderly Australians having 2 or more chronic illnesses. The optimal measure for multimorbidity has not yet been established. This research project will investigate which of the currently available multimorbidity measures has the best predictive power, working with the Healthy Ageing Program in the Department of Medicine. This is a unique opportunity to work on an Australian dataset with midlife and late life data collected over 25 years.
This project will provide opportunity for publication within one year and suits a candidate with an interest in a number of disease areas.
