Project Details
The Future Health Today Program is offering a PhD scholarship for an exceptional and talented candidate who is interested in undertaking a PhD project in the field of health informatics and/or general practice within the Future Health Today (FHT) program. A partnership between the Department of General Practice, University of Melbourne and Western Health, the FHT program focusses on optimising the detection and management of chronic disease in general practice, facilitating evidence-based care and improved patient outcomes using technology. If you are medical doctor specialising in health informatics or general practice, have an interest in implementation science or quality improvement and are interested in pursuing a career in research this may be the opportunity you have been looking for. Whilst the final project will be negotiated with the successful applicant, it is anticipated that this project will centre around the use of electronic medical records (EMR) for clinical trials as part of the larger FHT program.
