Summary The Hatters group investigates the molecular origins of neurodegenerative diseases with an emphasis on Huntington and Motor Neuron diseases. The lab is particularly focused on the quality control mechanisms of protein folding, and aberrant mechanisms involving protein misfolding and aggregation. Key interests include developing novel biosensors and tools to explore the biology in cellular and animal models of disease.
