Welcome to Honorary Enterprise Professor Greg Hunt
As the new year starts, we are pleased to welcome the Honourable Greg Hunt to the Faculty as Honorary Enterprise Professor.
The Honourable Greg Hunt
In this role, shared across MDHS, the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Melbourne Business School, Greg will provide strategic advice on innovation, leadership, and health policy.
Greg was awarded First Class Honours in Law while at the University of Melbourne and was subsequently a Fulbright Scholar to Yale University where he completed a Masters in International Relations. He recently retired from a twenty-year career in federal parliament during which he held ministerial appointments in environment, science and innovation, and health.
He will chair the MDHS Advisory Board for Innovation and Enterprise where his experience as a legislator, negotiator, strategic thinker, stakeholder manager and administrator will be particularly valuable. We also look forward to Greg’s participation in student programs in the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre, the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) and Translating Research at Melbourne program (TRAM).
Greg will of course be invited to participate in Faculty events, please make him welcome as he joins the MDHS community.
