2019 Emory Global Health Case Competition team selected

The team of six postgraduate students selected to represent the University in the annual international competition held at Emory University, Atlanta includes five students studying MDHS courses.

(Pictured L to R) David Morgan (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health), Georgia Gibson (Graduate Diploma of Psychology), Samuel Johnston (Doctor of Medicine), Stephanie Li (Doctor of Medicine), Thomas Strawhorn (Master of Engineering), and Anna Traill (Doctor of Medicine) were selected during an intramural Global Health Case Competition (GHCC) that serves as preparation for the international competition.

A rigorous selection process is involved that requires the judging panel to choose both a winning team for the intramural competition and an Emory team based on individual performance, peer assessment, and academic background.

The Faculty congratulates all students who competed in last month’s competition and wishes the Emory team the best of luck in Atlanta.
