Inaugural MDHS Staff Excellence Awards announced

The Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences is delighted to announce the winners of our inaugural MDHS Staff Excellence Awards.

These awards recognise and reward high-performing academic and professional teams and staff across the Faculty.

Building on our existing Learning and Teaching Excellence Awards, the awards celebrate those who demonstrate excellence in their contributions to our Faculty and to the communities we serve. Importantly, they recognise people for not only what they have achieved, but how they have gone about their work in ways that reflect our values of teamwork and collaboration, compassion, respect, integrity and accountability.

Award recipients, whether teams or individuals, were awarded $5000 to support a project or activity related to their career development or work of benefit to our Faculty and the recipient.

On Monday 2 December, the Faculty’s senior leaders hosted the award recipients at a special Luncheon and Awards ceremony to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the winners. View photos taken during the luncheon here.

Please join the Faculty in congratulating the winners across each of the categories. View the 2019 Honour Roll here or read below.
