The talk will focus on some of the ontologies we developed and our semantic web based tools aimed at trustworthy clinical decision support in three distinct areas: guideline representation and reasoning, guideline provenance, and study cohort modeling.

Dr Seneviratne is a member of the Health Empowerment by Analytics, Learning, and Semantics (HEALS) project, and coleads the Smart Contracts Augmented with Analytics Learning and Semantics project. Prior to Rensselaer, Oshani worked at Oracle, specializing in distributed systems, provenance, and healthcarerelated research and development work. Oshani obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2014 under the supervision of Sir Tim BernersLee, the inventor of the World Wide Web.
