U21 Health Sciences: Keynote Presentation Interprofessional Education Group

Joanne Bolton and Dr Ngaree Blow were invited keynote speakers at the U21 Health Sciences conference at the University of Auckland in September 2022, which had a conference theme of 'health equity'.

Jo travelled overseas to present, and Ngaree joined remotely to share with the U21 Interprofessional Education Group about the ‘Ways of knowing’ program, which brings together students and educators from a range of health professions. The aim of the program is to build reflective practice, critical thinking skills and collaborative practice competencies by engaging with multiple knowledges and ways of knowing in the context of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing.

This invited presentation shared curriculum design approaches, processes, outcomes, and evaluation.
