Feedback Know-how in the health workplace pilot
The Feedback Know-how in the healthcare workplace pilot was offered to all MDHS students in May 2022. A total of 353 students opted in to complete this extra-curricular, voluntary program to learn about feedback literacy and feedback conversations demonstrating great interest for this topic.
Professor Elizabeth Molloy, an international leader in feedback, lead the content for the 2-hour online module. Students also had the opportunity to learn directly from Liz in the 1-hour synchronous lunchtime workshop. Joanne Bolton (Collaborative Practice Centre), Dr Nicole Hill (Social Work) and Carolyn Cracknell (Collaborative Practice Centre) also contributed to the curriculum development and workshop, with the project receiving $5000 in funding from a Faculty Seed Grant.
After the success of the pilot, this curriculum is now being embedded as core curriculum within health professions education within MDHS programs.
