Berry Christmas Gift Appeal
In the spirit of Christmas, each year Professor Marie Connolly and the social work department coordinate collecting gifts for children in need.
The gifts are then given to our partner organisation Berry St as part of their Christmas drive for children in their care. Last year we collected over 30 gifts, a wonderful effort! We would love to collect even more gifts to spread more Christmas cheer this year!
If you would like to donate a gift please bring it in to the Dean's Office, Level 2, Alan Gilbert Building, 161 Barry Street and place it under the Christmas tree in the foyer no later than COB Monday 12th December. We will take them to Berry St on Tuesday 13th December.
Can’t make it to the shops? You can purchase a gift or make a donation directly on line at the following URL: www.berrystreet.org.au/BerryChristmasGiftAppeal
Donations of gifts to children of all ages are welcome, however we’ve been told it is the teens and young adults who really miss out. We would love to make an extra special effort to collect gifts for these age groups!
We ask that all gifts are new, unwrapped and non-perishable – we cannot accept used or second-hand items.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
